The journey began with the renovation of our own apartment and a quest for vintage design furniture. This experience ignited a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. I've worked on numerous renovation projects and helped a friend build his restaurant. In November 2022, I joined the Coöperatie Hembrug workspace at the Hem in Zaandam, where I now focus full-time on crafting timeless spaces using the highest quality natural materials.

Inspirations

I draw inspiration from architectural masters like Luis Barragán, George Nakashima and Marcel Breuer, as well as the craftsmanship of furniture makers Artisan, Time & Style, and Valentin Loellman and modular cabinet systems as USM Haller and Pastoe. Additionally, the unique aesthetic of Wes Anderson’s films influences the design philosophy.
